Description:

Spice up your blank walls with this head-turning framed canvas! This high-quality pine tree framed canvas comes with rubber pads on the back corners and wall mount that makes hanging the artwork hassle-free. What’s more, the frame gives the canvas a cool floating effect!

This meticulously painted Tharb Aworan framed canvas print celebrates Josephine Baker (aka The Bronze Venus) who was an American-born French entertainer, French Resistance agent and civil rights activist. Her contributions outside of entertainment were also landmark as she aided the Resistance during World War II. She also refused to perform for segregated audiences in the United States and is noted for her contributions to the civil rights movement. Notably in 1968, she was offered unofficial leadership in the civil rights movement in the United States by Coretta Scott King, following Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination.
